Cranbrook Blend

A beautifully aged-looking handmade peg tile blend, weaving together tonal oranges, smoky charcoal-browns, and warm flashes of terracotta for a roof brimming with antique character. Each tile carries the soft irregularities and gentle imperfections that only true handmade peg tiles offer – slight variations in shape, surface, and tone that catch the light differently across the day. Cranbrook Blend is a wonderful choice for listed buildings, and heritage restorations where the roof needs to look as though it has graced the building for centuries.

Recommendation

  • Roof Tiles to be laid in accordance with British Standards
  • Tiles to be drawn from all pallets to achieve the best blend and avoid “patching”
  • Tiles should be layed by a well practiced roofer with experience using handmade clay tiles
  • Pallets on site should be on firm, dry and level ground, no more than two pallets high
  • Due to limitations of the print process, colours should be selected from actual samples
