Rolvenden Blend

A rich and characterful handmade peg tile blend, layering bright terracotta-oranges with deeper browns and smoky, soot-touched shadows for a wonderfully lived-in roofline. The tiles feel beautifully aged from the moment they’re laid, with all the gentle irregularities and surface variations that give traditional peg tiles their unmistakable charm. Rolvenden Blend is perfect for historic cottages, oast houses, and rural restorations where the roof should feel as though it has weathered quietly through generations of Kentish sunshine and rain.

Recommendation

  • Roof Tiles to be laid in accordance with British Standards
  • Tiles to be drawn from all pallets to achieve the best blend and avoid “patching”
  • Tiles should be layed by a well practiced roofer with experience using handmade clay tiles
  • Pallets on site should be on firm, dry and level ground, no more than two pallets high
  • Due to limitations of the print process, colours should be selected from actual samples
